Star Academy Greystones was set-up by pop starlet Sinead O'Carroll, from B*Witched in 2006.

Sinead and her Band, B*Witched enjoyed huge success worldwide, becoming the first girl group in history to have their first four singles all go to number one after “C’est la Vie”, “Rollercoaster”, “To You I Belong” and “Blame It on the Weatherman” all topped the UK Singles Chart & 35 other countries around the world. Their self-titled debut album also topped the UK Albums Chart and peaked at number 1 on the US Billboard 200. During their time, the girls sold over 7 million albums worldwide.
Emma oversees Singing and Drama at Star Academy and is a member of Bray Musical Society and recently performed as a member of new Jazz sensation – Rouge. They won a national talent contest to perform a supporting slot with UK pop act The Saturdays, at the Bord Gais Energy Theatre. Emma regularly teaches alongside Sinead & brings her skills of Music & Drama, for which she holds a degree from UCD.
Aphria studied and trained at Sallynoggin Dance College and has performed on many large productions, competing across the globe. She taught at NPAS for one year before making the move. We welcome Aphria as a new addition to the Star Academy team – bringing with her plenty of energy, experience and new street dance styles.
Keah helps out with overseeing the Children/Students & takes some of the Drama classes. She is currently in sixth year and due to sit her Leaving Cert soon. She has been a member of the The Delgany Dramatics Society, Delgany Co,.Wicklow. Keah has applied to study Drama at the internationally recognised Gaiety School of Acting in 2017. Fingers & toes crossed!
